You will work closely with customers, laboratories, suppliers, project teams, and commercial colleagues, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle. For the right person, this role offers an excellent development path toward junior project management responsibilities within a growing business focused on potable water and advanced water treatment solutions.

What you will do:

  • Support the installation, commissioning, operation, and dismantling of pilot equipment and systems.
  • Monitor pilot performance and analyse operational and laboratory results.
  • Liaise with customers throughout testing activities and provide technical guidance when required.
  • Coordinate external contractors involved in installation, assembly, and site activities.
  • Organise sampling activities and collaborate with laboratories for water quality analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports documenting pilot results, performance, and recommendations.
  • Support the sales team by translating pilot results into technical and commercial opportunities.
  • Analyse RFQs, customer requirements, and tender documentation.
  • Prepare technical proposals and support commercial bid preparation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project, and finance teams during proposal development.
  • Support project managers on selected projects as business needs require.
  • Contribute to the design and customisation of water treatment solutions.
  • Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and customer discussions.
What you need to succeed:
  • Required: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in industrial operations, maintenance, installation, commissioning, utilities, water treatment, wastewater treatment, process plants, or related environments.
  • Hands‑on technical experience with equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, or plant operations.
  • Strong practical problem‑solving skills and willingness to work both in the field and in the office.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and customers.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and reports.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel within Spain, including occasional multi‑day site assignments.
  • English language skills sufficient for professional communication.
Preferred:
  • Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or environmental technologies.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP, CRM systems, or other engineering and business tools.
  • Exposure to pilot plants, process testing, commissioning, or field engineering activities.
  • Experience supporting tenders, proposals, or technical sales activities.
  • Interest in developing toward a Project Manager career path.
What we offer you:
  • A permanent contract.
  • A competitive salary as well as participation in the variable remuneration system based on personal and financial objectives.
  • Meal vouchers.
  • Access to a voluntary flexible compensation scheme allowing employees to optimise their salary package, such as health insurance, transport, or childcare.
  • Be part of an experienced and international team.
  • A good vibe working environment.
  • The opportunity to grow your career within a solid and well‑established international company.
  • A clear development path toward project management responsibilities.
  • Be part of a dynamic organisation undergoing continuous transformation and improvement.
  • Office location: Cornellà (Barcelona).
  • Regular exposure to customer sites, innovative technologies, and real‑world engineering challenges.
  • Additional benefits may apply depending on the position and location.
