Job Description:

Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team as an Application Engineer focusing on automation workflows using Python. You will develop, deploy, and support automation solutions, collaborate with product development teams to translate customer needs into product features, and provide training and consulting services. The role requires a strong background in engineering and programming, with experience in Python and familiarity with Ansys software or similar CAE tools.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows with Ansys scripting tools, especially Python and PyAnsys.
2. Engage with customers to understand their engineering workflows and requirements, and demonstrate how Ansys products can meet their needs.
3. Collaborate with product teams to enhance software features based on customer feedback.
4. Support marketing and consulting activities, including training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or related fields; or BS with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience with Python-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of Ansys software or similar tools, and experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with core Ansys products such as Fluent, AEDT, Mechanical, and PyAnsys.
• Advanced degrees and more years of experience are a plus.
