Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de productos de precisión.
• Conocimientos en estática, dinámica, mecánica de materiales y termodinámica.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y liberar nuevos estándares para aplicaciones específicas.
• Organizar programas de validación para componentes de compresores de AC.
• Analizar datos de pruebas y organizar resultados según especificaciones.

As a Product Engineer Compressors in MAHLE you will be part of the product engineering team developing the AC compressors. Current product teams are developing and producing a product portfolio consisting of Mechanical variable displacement compressors and electrically driven compressors.

How can you become part of our success?

• Work with customer to edit and sign a technical matrix for the application he needs.
• Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.
• Develop and release with Global Team the new standards to be applied for his specific application.
• Developing and authoring technical validation reports and specifications to be used for internal engineering and external customer documentation.
• DFMEA/PFMEA processes to provide understanding and improve validation related issues to improve a design based on test failures prior to mass production.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation & specification of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Assist with preparation and execution of test units.
• Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications with observations and conclusions.
• Apply engineering practices to reach design solutions.
• Participate in innovation, product cost and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional teams related to customer program launch activity.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure product design for high value and manufacturability.

What skills do you need?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher.

Experience in development of precision products for 5+ years.

Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical) and engineering design.

Experience with full Product cycle life development up to production.

Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Basic 3D modeling.

Good interpersonal skills.

Good written and oral skills – ability to write effective test reports.

Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects.

Enjoy working in a hands-on environment.
