The Role

At Matrix Renewables, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to play a key role supporting our HR department in Spain. Based in Madrid, the HR Generalist role will involve executing day-to-day HR functions, assisting with recruitment, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Key Activities and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist in the selection process, including conducting initial interviews and providing feedback.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new employees.
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Help maintain workplace safety standards and assist in audits as required.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, employee wellness programs, or organizational development.

General Skills / Attributes :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions such as recruitment and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
