Job Description:

Senovo IT is actively seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our prominent clients. This is a contract role with an initial duration of 6-12 months, with potential for extension.

Languages: English (required)

Location: Spain, fully remote

Main Requirements:

1. Experience with projects involving statistical approaches or detection logic
2. Data mapping, relational data, and object-oriented data handling
3. Data processing skills such as ETL, with exposure to tools like Ab Initio, Informatica, etc., including parsing and data quality issues
4. Operational environments, DevOps, research/analysis
5. Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Scala (or Java), Python; Elastic (optional), RESTful APIs, JSON, Tomcat/Jetty
6. Exposure to version control systems, IDEs, and understanding of processes used to build solutions
7. Hands-on development experience (Java, Scala, etc.) in system integration projects or as a data scientist
8. Experience with fraud, financial crime, customer insight, or compliance projects utilizing detection or predictive models
9. Familiarity with Agile development methodology
