Formación

• 2-10+ years of experience in API test automation.

API Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional Automation Engineer to work with our cross-functional team and join our world-class community of talented experts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform automation testing design based on detailed specifications.
2. Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
3. Define test objectives, create test plans, and develop automated test cases/procedures.
4. Provide clear and concise test results to management and customers.
5. Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
6. Conduct job training and assist Junior QA Automation Engineers as needed.
7. Recognize and create awareness of process or quality issues.

Essential Skills

• 2-10+ years of experience in API test automation.
• QA automation with development skills; ability to write automation scripts from scratch.
• Advanced use of Postman (variables, pre-request scripts, authorization, tests) with hands-on experience using Rest Assured framework.
• High proficiency in Java for API automation testing.
• Experience in creating Gherkin scripts based on Cucumber framework.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, Bamboo, including AWS.
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.
• Strong experience with JIRA test management tool.
• Experience in creating and automating tests for Web Services (Serenity BDD is a plus).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (Bamboo is a plus).
• Mandatory proficiency in Spanish and English.

• Experience working in Agile projects.
