A leading company is seeking an exceptional Automation Engineer to join their cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, particularly with APIs, and be proficient in both Spanish and English. This role involves designing test procedures, improving automation processes, and mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Minimum of 2-10+ years of experience in API test automation.
• Mandatory Spanish and English speaking skills.
• Experience with Agile Projects and CI/CD tools (Bamboo is a plus).

We are looking for an exceptional Automation Engineer to work with our cross-functional team, and join our world-class community of talented experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs Automation testing design against detailed specifications.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
• Defines test objectives, creates test plans and develops automated test cases / procedures.
• Provides test results to management and customers that are clear and concise.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Conduct job trainings and provide assistance to Junior QA Automation Engineers as needed.
• Responsible for recognizing and creating awareness of process or quality problems.
• Minimum. Experience of Test automation of 2-10+ years on API test automation
• QA automation with development skills - ability to write from scratch automation scripts.
• Advanced use of Postman (variables, pre-request scripts, authorization, tests, etc.) for which hands on experience is necessary with Rest Assured framework
• High knowledge of Java for API Automation testing
• Hands on experience in creating Gherkin scripts based on Cucumber framework
• Experienced BDD framework using cucumber
• Experience in CI / CD tools : Bitbucket, GITHub, Bamboo and others including AWS
• Solid experience of AGILE Methodologies and Scrum processes
• Strong experience in JIRA test management tool
• Experience in creating tests for Web-Services and automate them. (Serenity BDD is a plus)
• Experience with continuous integrations and continuous deployment (Bamboo is a plus)
• Mandatory Spanish and English speaking skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working in Agile Projects.
• Experience in BANKING is a plus
• Knowledge of Web and Mobile Automation testing
• Other Test Automation and Testing certification
