MISSIONHome based position based in the Europe with full responsibility for the expansion (revenue ;acquisition) globally with the aim of encouraging clients to connect to our API.Includes new business leads, account management and relationships with all levels of management.Role supports a wide variety of client including key focus on tour operators, DMC’s and bedbanks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFocus on new business.Work towards sales targets individually and as a team.Frequent interaction mainly via email, phone and virtual to existing clients with some travel involved where needed.Visit clients and prospects as necessaryClose new sales opportunities on an ongoing basis.Communicate effectively with internal Finance, Connection and Operations departmentsto ensure optimal client experienceAcquisition of targeted clients with close follow up from registration to booking.Deliver effective sales presentations in order to secure new business.Meeting/visit planning and data analysis.Support client’s communication and feedback to head office any improvements required.Provide weekly and monthly reports.Update CRM system daily.Execute directives in line with company strategy.
CANDIDATE PROFILECandidates should ideally have a minimum 5 years field sales experience in the travel industry with API understanding preferred. An excellent sales track record can substitute for less than 5 years’ experience. Preference will be given to those with API sales experience or similar background.Excellent knowledge and contacts on all levels of the market.Target driven and results orientated.Understanding of technology and online distribution.Excellent communication with the ability to interact at all levels internally and externally.Resourceful with good organisational skills.Dynamic and motivated self starter.Flexibility to travel nationally and abroad.Fluent in English alongside other languages preferredConfident presenter and communicator
