Emerging Travel Group is a global travel-tech company operating in over 220 source markets since 2010. We develop advanced online booking platforms for clients ranging from individual tourists to travel agents and corporate clients. Our solutions help hoteliers showcase their accommodations, increasing visibility and attracting a wider audience.

We are seeking a detail-oriented API Optimization Manager to handle complex API integrations and technical troubleshooting. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our direct supply connectivity by optimizing switch platforms, managing connectivity feeds, and supporting chains post-LIVE to maximize performance. The candidate will collaborate with Chain Account Managers and internal teams to enhance traffic optimization, manage bans, and fulfill contractual obligations.

This is a remote position.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist with API integrations and troubleshooting to ensure seamless technical connections between ETG and switch platforms such as SynXis and Derbysoft.
2. Optimize switch platforms by identifying areas for improvement in integration and performance.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, including the Chains and Connectivity teams, to improve traffic and the effectiveness of direct supply connections.
4. Manage feed configurations to ensure correct setup and operation.
5. Monitor connectivity performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management.
6. Support the Chains team in optimizing L2B (Look-to-Book) ratios for better conversion rates.
7. Ensure distribution aligns with contractual obligations, monitoring feeds to apply bans and adjustments as needed.
8. Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide technical support to internal teams and partners.
9. Maintain documentation on feed management, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in API integrations and troubleshooting within a wholesaler or OTA environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis, strategy development, and data-driven decision-making.
• Basic understanding of switch platforms like SynXis, Derbysoft, and other connectivity solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in feed management and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of travel distribution systems, direct supply connectivity, or channel management is a plus.
