e DO is seeking an experienced Android Lead Engineer to join our Travel Things team in a hybrid setup. You will lead a high‑performing Android team, shaping architecture and delivering scalable mobile experiences for our Prime platform.

You will collaborate with product, design, and data science, own technical strategy for modules, mentor engineers, and help hire and onboard new talent while upholding coding standards and delivering customer value.

• Must have knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, performance engineering, design patterns, data modelling.
• Experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems.
• Experience with Applied AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.

What you will do:

The Role's Key Responsibilities As an e DOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Lead Engineer, you will be in charge of: Working with top-notch native tech stack. i OS: Swift, VIPER, Clean Architecture, XCTests, Unit tests, Snapshot Tests and UITests, Cocoapods, Fastlane, Jenkins and Circle CI. Android: Kotlin, Retrofit, Apollo for Graph QL, MVP and MVVM, SOLID, Clean Architecture, DI with Dagger, Unit Tests, Roboletric, UI Tests Espresso by Robot Pattern and Gherkins, Whitelabel with 4 Flavours. Collaborating with Product, Business, Architecture, Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Prime domaib, define the technical strategy for your modules and ensure their optimal performance. Helping your team translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical design and code and split the work into smaller tasks that add quick value to customers. Promoting our standards of technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. Leading a high performing cross functional agile team of 7-10 experienced software engineers and developers. Taking an active role in finding and hiring the best talent available, in collaboration with our recruiters, and onboard new joiners into our culture of high performance, collaboration and growth. What you need to succeed:

Must have Knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, performance engineering, design patterns, data modelling Mobile and code base knowledge Knowledge and experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Chat GPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
