Analysis Engineer (m / f / x) for Platform-Software in the Area of Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving

WHAT TO EXPECT

The team for the analysis of Platform Software examines errors that occur during the execution of system- and component tests for ADAS applications. With your work, you acquire a deep understanding of communication between ECUs in the car. Using this in-depth knowledge and by performing analysis on code-level, you can recognize complex error patterns, propose bug fixes and, through close cooperation with our project partners, gain detailed insight into the development of modern automotive software, as well as the workflow of software engineers at our customers. We offer a hybrid work model with flexible office or home-office days.

YOUR TASKS

  1. Analysis of abnormalities in the communication between driver-assistance ECUs, mainly over Ethernet (TCP / DLT / XCP), FlexRay, and CAN.
  2. Examination of errors that lead to crashes of single software modules or of the whole ECU, for example by analyzing Coredumps.
  3. Analysis of errors in relation to vehicle diagnosis (Flash, UDS, DTCs).
  4. Solid familiarization with the C++ Code to be able to perform detailed code analysis.
  5. Technical knowledge transfer as well as working on solutions together with project partners.
  6. Validation of bug fixes for previously analyzed errors.
  7. Performing Debug Sessions with stakeholders.

  3. Enjoyment of professional exchange about technical systems.
  4. Distinct communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  5. Enthusiasm for complex problem solving.
  6. Fascination for driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.
  7. Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, engineering, or comparable experience.
  8. B2 level in English or higher.
