Job Description

Why travel far in search of paradise when you can go to the Canary Islands? This archipelago has it all: eternal summer, fantastic beaches, and a vast wealth of nature.

If you want to live and work in the lucky islands, you are indeed in luck. Acttiv is looking for versatile, energetic, and adventurous people to join our entertainment teams in Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Lanzarote. This role requires being an all-rounder, adventurous with all kinds of activities, and knowledgeable about entertainment. If this describes you, then this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities of an All-round Entertainer

• Organize children’s games for all ages, from mini-club (3-8 years old) to maxi-club (9-12 years old) and teens (from 12 years old).
• Implement activities in the adult programme: sports, games, bingo, quizzes, handicraft workshops, among others.
• Dance with children at the mini-disco.
• Participate in nightly entertainment shows.
• Communicate effectively with guests using a microphone.
• Liaise with guests and promote daily activities.
• Manage equipment necessary for all activities.
• Obtain positive reviews to enhance the online reputation of the establishment.

You will be supported at all times by the entertainment manager, team leader, and supervisor to ensure quality standards are met.

Candidate Requirements

At Acttiv, we don’t require superpowers (although they are welcome). We look for candidates who:

• Have experience as an entertainer for at least one season.
• Possess a good level of Spanish and English (at least B2). Knowledge of French, German, Dutch, or other languages is a plus.
• Have no specific educational qualification, but studies in entertainment, children’s education, sport, or dance are assets.
• Are available for a minimum of 6 months from the start date.

Additional qualities include being outgoing, shameless, adaptable to new situations, and team-oriented. No experience? No problem! We offer introductory courses in tourist entertainment, and passing the course guarantees employment.

What We Offer

• Accommodation options: hotel-provided or personal; if using hotel accommodation, €172.90 net per month will be deducted from your salary for expenses.
