What we are looking for

SATLANTIS is looking foran AIV Manager to join our Production team and lead the Leioa production line. The main responsibilities include coordinating assembly, integration, and validation (AIV) tasks for Earth observation cameras, as well as managing the production team and planning activities at the Leioa facility. Additionally, the AIV Manager will participate in the early phases of project definition and design, especially those involving the future implementation of technologies on the production line. The role also requires close coordination and alignment with the production and development teams.

Tasks and responsibilities:
    • AIV process management: Plan, execute, and monitor the assembly, integration, and validation of Earth observation cameras.
    • Production planning: Define and maintain the production schedule in coordination with project managers; manage the production team and facilities.
    • Documentation preparation: Supervise and coordinate the creation of AIV documentation, including production status reports.
    • Non-conformity management: Lead the resolution of production issues in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management.
    • Continuous process improvement: Identify, develop, and implement production process improvements in cooperation with Engineering.
    • Early-stage technical involvement: Participate in the design and development of new technologies, focusing on their future integration into the production environment.
Required skills and experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production-related tasks or in roles involving the design, development, and manufacturing of machinery or instruments.
    • Master’s or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field.
Preferred:
    • Knowledge and experience in the production of technologies related to the space sector.
    • Strong technical leadership and team management skills.
    • Proactive, creative, and results-oriented profile with a comprehensive view of the product lifecycle.
Languages:

Fluent spoken and written English.
