Job Description :

As a team member within the certification and airworthiness office for Airbus Combat, your main responsibilities and functions will include :

For Initial Certification :

• Establish the applicable certification basis for the air system type certification and major changes;
• Develop certification plans and prepare relevant documentation;
• Coordinate with technical organizations on Airworthiness activities;
• Present and discuss certification plans and compliance means with Airworthiness Authorities;
• Manage documentation for product and modification certification;
• Verify compliance with airworthiness requirements during the design phase;
• Participate in design revisions to ensure airworthiness compliance;
• Advise other engineering teams on airworthiness requirements;
• Inform the Chief Engineering Office about regulations for different countries;
• Classify and approve modifications within privileges granted by authorities;
• Prepare evidence for flight tests and obtain necessary approvals;
• Support other departments in obtaining Certificates of Airworthiness, especially during operator or country changes;
• Document and manage approval of concessions related to Airworthiness.

For Continued Airworthiness :

• Lead activities related to event monitoring and mitigation actions;
• Coordinate with authorities on unsafe conditions and directives;
• Participate in safety panels and committees;
• Approve or prepare artefacts for in-service products or development phases.

Candidate Skills :

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering;
• Proficiency in English (Advanced level).
