Job Responsibilities
- Hands-on automation design, development, and administration support for various end-to-end technical processes (AD & SB assessment, reliability report generation, defect & records management), with a primary focus on Power Automate and Azure Services.
- Implement RPAs and workflows in Power Automate to automate airworthiness processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications on Azure Services.
- Design, develop, and maintain technical dashboards and data structures that support them.
- Support airline technical services with process automation and data management.
- Oversee and resolve defects or performance issues discovered during the lifecycle of automations and data pipelines.
- Collaborate on creating CAE TSS data infrastructure and analytics environments, understand the data, and provide reports for key business decisions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support staff, including key system integration points (e.g., AMOS, TRAX).
- Participate in IT aircraft technical projects such as predictive maintenance, immersive solutions, AI, records management, etc.
- Liaise with clients on reporting, automations, and dashboards, including follow-up.
- Handle other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Information Technologies, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps engineer and/or Software Architect.
- At least 1 year of experience managing Azure Services or holding Azure certifications.
- At least 1 year of experience working within software development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- At least 1 year of experience developing microservices and/or RESTful APIs.
- Mandatory knowledge of SQL database design and optimization; NoSQL knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in airworthiness, CAMO, or fleet management roles within an airline or MRO environment.
- Experience as a software development team lead.
- Experience developing data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or Vue.js.
