The Position

This role will leverage their data science expertise and technical background to drive sales success by providing technical leadership throughout the pre-sales process.

They will act as a trusted advisor to our sales team and potential clients, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value, taking into account the Keepler approach to consulting selling. In their day to day they will provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, designing and presenting tailored data science solutions to clients.

It involves conducting needs assessments, competitive analysis, and identifying emerging trends to drive innovation.

The role also collaborates with sales, other tech sales with experience in data architecture and product teams, builds client relationships, and empowers the sales team through training and documentation

Technical Understanding

Data Science deep understanding : They understand core data science concepts like machine learning, artificial intelligence and Generative AI, and they may have satellite knowledge, big data, and analytics. They can comprehend the technical details of data science solutions and articulate their value to potential clients.

Familiar with Data Science tools and technologies : They have knowledge of common data science tools, and techniques (e.g., Pandas, ML models, MLFlow). This allows them to engage in technical conversations with data scientists and IT professionals as well as assess the customer technical capabilities and ecosystems.

Experience working with Data Science : They can analyze data, identify trends, and draw insights, which helps them tailor solutions to specific customer needs and demonstrate the potential ROI of data science investments.

Data consulting & strategy focus : They possess strong technical consulting skills, enabling them to lead data assessment and discovery workshops to uncover client needs and data-driven opportunities. This expertise allows them to effectively translate business challenges into actionable data science strategies.

Strong presentation skills and effective communication of the value proposition : They can effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Moreover, they persuasively communicate the value proposition of data science solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Business solution oriented : They understand business processes and how data science can be used to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They focus on understanding the customer's pain points and tailoring data science solutions to address those specific needs.

Problem-solving and analytical skills : They can analyze customer challenges and propose data-driven solutions.

Identify and qualify leads : They can work with sales to identify potential clients who would benefit from data science solutions and qualify them based on their needs and budget from a technological point of view.

Passion for technology and data : They have a genuine interest in data science and its potential to transform businesses.
