The Position

This role leverages data science expertise and a technical background to drive sales success by providing technical leadership throughout the pre-sales process.

It involves acting as a trusted advisor to the sales team and clients, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value, and designing tailored data science solutions.

The role includes conducting needs assessments, competitive analysis, and identifying emerging trends to foster innovation.

It also involves collaborating with sales, technical teams, and product teams, building client relationships, and empowering the sales team through training and documentation.

Technical Understanding

Candidates should have a deep understanding of Data Science concepts such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Generative AI, along with knowledge of big data and analytics.

Familiarity with data science tools and technologies like Pandas, ML models, and MLFlow is essential for engaging in technical discussions and assessing client ecosystems.

Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and drawing insights helps in tailoring solutions and demonstrating ROI.

Strong technical consulting skills are required to lead data assessment workshops and translate business challenges into data science strategies.

Effective communication skills are crucial to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A business solution-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with sales to identify and qualify leads are also important.

A genuine passion for data science and technology is desired.
