This is a superb opportunity for an AI System Architect to join one of Europe’s hottest processor start-ups.

Based in Barcelona, our client is looking for an AI System Architect to join their System Architecture group. This team designs and develops high-performance, low power SoC AI accelerators.

The AI System Architect will join as one of the founding members of this brand-new team and will be critical in driving new innovations in SoC architecture to grow the company’s IP portfolio. The AI System Architect will define new AI accelerator architectures with innovative approaches to improve performance/power/area metrics and flexibility for a wide range of AI applications. The AI System Architect will analyze existing and new emerging AI algorithms to identify bottlenecks and new opportunities for innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Write architecture specifications for highly configurable chips and drive architectural modeling.
2. Assess the feasibility of ideas and refine them using knowledge in various areas such as RISC-V architecture, RTL, RTOS, and compilers.
3. Work in the field of processor development (many-core and multi-chip systems preferred).
4. Code in SystemVerilog / Verilog.

The successful AI System Architect will enjoy being one of the very first members of this brand-new team that is set for huge expansion in 2024.
