NTT DATA in Madrid seeks an AI/ML leader for our Supply Chain team. You will translate complex AI/ML topics into clear business narratives for CIOs and IT leaders, and you will oversee AI/ML workstreams delivered by other teams.

The role combines client engagement, proposal support, and shaping innovative AI-driven offerings for supply chain, with a hybrid work model and permanent full-time contract.

Our Supply Chain team consists of experienced functional experts. Rather than offering commodity services, we develop new and innovative offerings for our clients, increasingly incorporating Artificial Intelligence into our value proposition. We have developed a compelling AI narrative for supply chain transformation and are seeking a professional who can provide the technical depth required to support it.

Our team possesses deep supply chain expertise; however, when discussions with a client's CIO or IT department turn to AI, ML, or related technical topics, we require a dedicated expert to participate in those conversations. We are looking for a candidate who can engage credibly in such discussions, translate complex AI and ML concepts into actionable insights for business executives, and represent our team with confidence before technical stakeholders.

This person will also be responsible for overseeing the AI and ML workstreams delivered by other NTT DATA teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, ideally with some exposure to Supply Chain or another industry vertical. Strong communication skills in English; comfortable presenting to and engaging senior client stakeholders, including CIOs and IT leadership. Proven experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning; familiarity with Agentic AI is a plus. Demonstrated ability to distill complex, technical AI/ML topics into clear, executive-ready narratives. Experience supervising or coordinating technical delivery teams, even if you're not writing the code yourself. A genuine interest in applying AI to Supply Chain, with the drive to keep building that expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the AI/ML technical voice for the Supply Chain team in client conversations, particularly with CIOs and IT stakeholders. Translate complex AI, ML, and Agentic AI concepts into simple, compelling narratives for business executives. Partner with our functional supply chain experts to shape new, innovative AI-driven offerings - moving us beyond commodity services. Supervise and coordinate the AI/ML work executed by other teams, ensuring it aligns with client expectations and the story we've sold. Support proposal development and client pitches with credible, well-structured AI content. Continuously build the team's AI/ML expertise in the Supply Chain domain. Establish priorities and ensure alignment across departments.
