Job summary

Applus IDIADA seeks a Data & AI Strategy Analyst to advance sales performance through data, AI, and automation. You will partner with Sales, Digital and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable AI-driven solutions, delivering measurable improvements in forecasting, customer insights, and reporting.

You will lead use-case portfolios, conduct industry benchmarking, and support PoCs, pilots, and scaling initiatives across international teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, CS, Statistics or related field.
• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, AI, Digital Transformation, or Strategy preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic consulting, business analysis, data analytics, digital transformation, or BI.
• Experience in cross-functional and international environments.
• Exposure to AI, ML, predictive analytics, or automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define the Data & AI Strategy and manage use case portfolios.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, analytics, automation, or Generative AI to improve sales efficiency and forecasting.
• Conduct market benchmarking and monitor trends, technologies, competitors, and use cases.
• Support leadership in AI and data transformation investments.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand challenges and prioritize business needs.
• Develop PoCs, pilot projects, and scaling initiatives; track outcomes post-deployment.

Job Description

Mission:

The Data & AI Strategy Analyst plays a key role in enhancing sales performance and commercial decision-making through data, analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence. Working closely with Sales, Business Units, Digital teams, and Technical Teams the role identifies opportunities to optimize sales processes, improve forecasting, strengthen customer insights, and automate reporting. By translating business needs into scalable data and AI-driven solutions, the position supports the organization's digital transformation while delivering measurable improvements in sales effectiveness, productivity, and business growth.

• Support the definition, evolution, and execution of the organitzationData & AI Strategy.
• Identify strategic opportunities where data, analytics, machine learning, automation, or Generative AI can improve operational sales efficiency, customer experience, revenue growth, or decision-making.
• Conduct industry benchmarking and monitor market trends, technologies, competitors, and emerging use cases.
• Support leadership in assessing investment priorities and strategic initiatives related to AI and data transformation.

AI Opportunity Identification & Use Case Management

• Partner with business leaders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for applying AI and advanced analytics.
• Facilitate workshops to collect, assess, and prioritize business needs.
• Create structured use case portfolios and opportunity pipelines.
• Evaluate potential initiatives based on business impact, implementation effort, technical feasibility, cost, risks, and expected return on investment.
• Support the development of proofs of concept (PoCs), pilot projects, and scaling initiatives.
• Track use case performance and business outcomes after deployment.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Act as a liaison between salesfunctions, data teams, IT departments, and external vendors..
• Support organizational change initiatives related to data and AI adoption.
• Prepare communication materials, presentations, and executive updates.
• Deliver workshops, awareness sessions, and capability-building activities.
• Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Education

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Strategy.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Strategic consulting

  • Innovation management

• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
• Experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations.
