CARTO is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to own end-to-end quality of our platform. You will leverage AI agents to write and repair tests, automate execution, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to prevent regressions.

You will also translate manual test cases into automated tests and build robust data pipelines for validation. The role emphasizes exploring new features, validating spatial data and visual outputs, and maintaining reliable test data across data warehouses.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent on-the-job learning.
• Demonstrated autonomy, curiosity, eagerness to learn, and high energy.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tooling and modern E2E frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Use AI agents to write, extend and repair automated tests and judge outcomes.
• Automate test execution and ensure fast, reliable suites across changes.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to ensure test coverage and prevent regressions.
• Convert manual test cases to automated ones and manage an inventory of gaps.
• Perform exploratory manual testing on new features for quality assurance.
• Create test data and validate data flows across multiple sources.
