In this fully remote role, you will combine creative vision, interior design expertise, and advanced AI image-generation skills to develop distinctive, commercially promising home décor products. You will transform emerging design trends and customer preferences into original product concepts and compelling visual experiences. A key part of your work will involve creating photorealistic interior scenes that showcase products with accurate materials, textures, colors, and proportions. You will collaborate with designers to refine concepts and prepare product visuals for e-commerce launches. By balancing aesthetics with commercial potential, you will help shape an attractive product portfolio for a premium home décor brand serving online customers. Accountabilities

• Product concept development: Research interior design trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify new home décor opportunities and develop original, commercially viable product concepts.
• AI-powered concept visualization: Use advanced generative AI tools to explore, visualize, and refine new physical product ideas, translating creative concepts into compelling visual representations.
• Interior styling and scene creation: Place existing and proposed products into realistic, aesthetically cohesive AI-generated interiors that reflect different design styles, including Japandi, organic modern, and coastal interiors.
• Photorealistic product imagery: Produce high-quality lifestyle and product visuals for e-commerce websites, ensuring generated images accurately represent the original products’ shapes, proportions, materials, colors, and textures.
• Visual quality and consistency: Maintain high standards of realism, composition, lighting, and styling across all creative outputs, ensuring that product details remain faithful to the intended designs.
• Trend research and opportunity identification: Monitor emerging interior styles, materials, product categories, and customer preferences to uncover opportunities for new product development and commercial growth.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with designers and relevant team members to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and prepare product designs and visual assets for launch.
• Commercial evaluation: Assess the market appeal and potential sales value of proposed products, balancing aesthetic originality with customer demand and commercial objectives.
• E-commerce content development: Create visually engaging product and lifestyle imagery that strengthens online merchandising, communicates product value, and supports customer purchasing decisions.
• Creative workflow management: Organize multiple projects, manage deadlines, maintain clear communication, and deliver consistent, high-quality outputs in a fully remote working environment.
• Product feasibility awareness: Consider practical manufacturing requirements, material limitations, production constraints, and shipping considerations when developing physical product concepts.

Requirements

• Visual design and aesthetic expertise: Excellent visual taste and a strong understanding of interior design, styling, color theory, materials, textures, proportions, and composition.
• Advanced AI image-generation skills: Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools such as Nano Banana, Flux, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or comparable platforms.
• Photorealistic image creation: Proven ability to generate convincing interior scenes and product imagery while preserving accurate product characteristics, including shape, material, color, texture, and proportions.
• Creative concept development: Strong imagination and the ability to translate market insights, design inspiration, and customer preferences into original, visually appealing, and commercially promising physical products.
• Relevant portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating high-quality interior visuals, AI-generated imagery, product concepts, home décor projects, or other closely related creative work.
• Project management and organization: Strong organizational skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple creative assignments while meeting deadlines.
• English proficiency: Fluent English communication skills for collaborating with the team, discussing concepts, understanding feedback, and documenting creative decisions.
• Commercial awareness: An understanding of how visual design, product differentiation, and customer preferences influence purchasing decisions in e-commerce.

Strongly preferred

• Professional experience in home décor, interior styling, furniture, or lifestyle products.
• Experience developing concepts for physical products from initial inspiration through visual refinement.
• Familiarity with US interior design trends, home décor preferences, and target customer expectations.
• Experience producing product photography alternatives, lifestyle visuals, or marketing imagery for e-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of wood, natural finishes, and other materials commonly used in premium home décor.

Important role clarification: This position focuses on AI-assisted product concept development, interior styling, and photorealistic visual creation. It is not a traditional CAD design or UX/UI design role. The ideal candidate combines outstanding visual judgment with the ability to create attractive, realistic, and commercially viable home décor concepts using generative AI.
