Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a senior product designer to own end-to-end design for a large-scale mobile-first AI product. You’ll work closely with the Design Lead, Product Managers and founders in a fully remote, contractor-to-full-time setup, shaping new surfaces from concept to shipped experience.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a proven shipped-product portfolio, and strong AI prototyping skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end consumer product design experience.
• Experience designing and shipping mobile-first products at scale.
• Proven 01 experience, taking products or major features from idea to launch.
• Strong strategic product thinking combined with elite visual execution.
• A portfolio of polished, modern, high-quality UI from real consumer products.
• Demonstrable, measurable product impact (growth, retention, conversion, engagement or similar).
• Daily use of AI tools for design, prototyping or content generation, and the ability to clearly explain which tools and workflows you use.
• Advanced Figma skills.
• Strong prototyping skills, using design tools and/or code-based approaches.
• Experience working autonomously and owning product surfaces.
• Strong async communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote team.
• Comfort working on 18+ mature product experiences.
• Willingness to start on a B2B / contractor basis

About the role

We're building a large-scale, mobile-first consumer product at the frontier of AI: chat experiences, character creation, and live and interactive formats, including AI video. You'll need to be comfortable designing for adult audiences and content.

You'll join a small, fast-moving team, working directly with the Design Lead, Product Managers and founders. The role carries high ownership: you'll shape new product surfaces from first concept to shipped experience.

Essential
