About the role

As we focus on enhancing our internal capabilities in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI, the role of an AI Portfolio Specialist becomes pivotal. This role will support our technology department in driving innovation, improving customer experiences, and simplifying our operations through advanced AI solutions.

The AI Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for collecting and overseeing the portfolio of AI projects and initiatives within Vodafone. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of AI projects to ensure they align with Vodafone's strategic goals. The AI Portfolio Lead will play a crucial role in driving value realisation, prioritizing innovation initiatives that respond to value-based KPIs (ROI, quality, time-to-market), enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.

What you will do:

1. Develop and manage the AI project portfolio, ensuring alignment with Vodafone's strategic goals.
2. Coordinate and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes.
4. Monitor and report on the progress, performance, and impact of AI projects.
5. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI project management practice.

What you bring:

1. Strong experience in AI and machine learning concepts and technologies.
2. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
3. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4. Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
5. Strong experience on financial and non-financial KPIs to drive value-based prioritization (ROI, quality, time-to-market).
6. Advanced level of English (International team)
7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
