Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure, enabling model development, training, and deployment. You will work with data scientists and ML engineers to provide robust tools and environments that support experimentation and production workloads.

The role requires strong cloud, containerization, and IaC experience, plus collaboration in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, or DevOps with focus on AI/ML platforms.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure and platforms.
• Implement and manage tools for data pipelines, model training, and deployment (MLOps).
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of AI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their infrastructure needs.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay up-to-date with cloud technologies and AI/ML infrastructure best practices.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the AI platform.
