Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our Core AI Services Team . This role balances technical contributions (50%) with leadership and managerial responsibilities (50%) . You will dedicate :

• 50% of your time to hands-on project work as a software engineer.
• 50% of your time to managing and supporting a team of 6-10 engineers working on the same project.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Contributions (50%)

• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code.
• Collaborate on project design, architecture, and implementation .
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues .
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant technologies.

People Management (50%)

• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 6-10 engineers .
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture .
• Set and communicate clear performance expectations .
• Lead the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in engineering leadership .
• Strong technical expertise in software development , with proficiency in Python and Machine Learning (ML) .
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues .
• Excellent organizational skills to balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective cross-functional collaboratio
