Job summary

JUPUS is seeking an AI Lead to own AI across the company, blending hands-on production AI with strategic leadership. You’ll define the AI roadmap and build reliable, production‑ready systems across voice, chat, and document workflows.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll mentor the AI team, establish best practices, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver real user value. You will work on Website Chatbot, Marie the AI Phone Assistant, and Case File & Document AI, grounded

Qualifications

• 5–6 years building and shipping applied AI in production.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI or RAG in production.
• Strong Python backend development for AI-driven products.
• Experience leading AI engineers and setting technical direction.
• End-to-end ownership of AI features in a product environment.
• Experience with AI evaluation and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI roadmap across all AI products.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the AI team to high performance.
• Architect and implement production-ready generative AI systems.
• Contribute hands-on (≈40%) to core AI systems.
• Design agentic workflows, RAG systems, and LLM architectures.
• Establish evaluation, testing, and observability frameworks.
