About the Role

This role will play a pivotal part in driving business results by leveraging AI technology across multiple areas. As the leader of this initiative, you will report directly to the Group Head of Software Engineering and align with the Group's AI vision.

You will be responsible for ensuring technical designs balance key considerations such as cost, risk, time-to-value, and others for AI solutions and ML platform development. Your expertise will help articulate and mitigate technical risks in a data-driven manner.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide significant input into product architecture for reusable AI products that can be adopted across the organization.
• Lead the technical direction of AI / ML platforms, including lightweight generative AI abstraction and the route to live and runtime platforms for ML development.
• Maintain an ongoing awareness of the external AI landscape and lead modeling efforts to assess costs and benefits of individual generative models and implementation approaches.

Collaboration and Leadership :

• Collaborate with tech leads and architects in all IAG AI Labs to build an aligned community of forward-looking enthusiasts.
• Drive incremental ROI improvements for AI investments across the Group.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in data science, AI, or software, with a proven track record of delivering tangible value.
• Experience leading software products from a technical perspective, ensuring high-quality and secure code development.
• Strong understanding of software development and DevSecOps best practices.
• Enthusiastic, optimistic, and forward-looking attitude.
