Flight Centre Travel Group's Barcelona-based team is seeking a Software Engineer to build AI-native travel tech. You will join agile squads, own features from design to deployment, and collaborate with international colleagues to deliver scalable backend services and AI-driven experiences.

Experience in Ruby on Rails, API design, containers, and DevOps is preferred, with English as the working language. Your work will shape how business travellers access intelligent content and booking workflows

Formación

• 3-5 years of professional software development, backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with containers and API design.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, automated testing.
• Comfortable working in English within an international team.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into production applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and microservices.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered features (intelligent search, travel recommendations, document processing).
• Write clean, testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Own features from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Engineer prompts and integrate LLM APIs to enhance user experiences.
