Job summary

Novutech is seeking a Senior Finance Accountant to own day-to-day accounting across European entities with NetSuite at the core. You will drive automation, implement AI-assisted workflows, and ensure audit-ready processes while collaborating with the Finance Manager.

You will manage month-end close, intercompany accounting, and statutory reporting, supporting scalable growth and improved controls in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity, international, scale-up, or professional services environment.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, supplier bills, journals, reconciliations, fixed assets, period close, and reporting.
• Fluent in English and willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own NetSuite accounting across all Group entities, ensuring timely, compliant, audit-ready general ledger records.
• Process supplier, payroll-related, contractor invoices, Payhawk transactions and other entries.
• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, amortisation, allocations, fixed assets, and other schedules.
• Maintain audit-proof balance sheet reconciliations and investigate differences monthly.
• Design automated booking quality controls and a structured month-end close calendar.
• Build scalable finance documentation and SOPs; drive AI adoption in finance processes.
• Support treasury, cash operations, compliance, and revenue/intercompany activities.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages and automate variance analysis.
