A creative game development studio is looking for an AI Designer to develop engaging enemy designs for a high-mobility shooter. What we are looking for:

We are building a culture of play and seeking an imaginative, skillful, and versatile AI Designer to join our remote team. If you are passionate about developing ground-breaking worlds and player experiences, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Create exciting new enemies for a high-mobility shooter game
• Develop design specifications and technical documentation
• Collaborate with AI designers and engineers on NPC creation, scripting, and behavior trees
• Work with producers to plan upcoming tasks and dependencies
• Analyze user data, feedback, and heatmaps to evaluate AI performance and identify improvements
• Present and pitch new AI concepts to the team

Qualifications:

• Passion for shooters and/or MOBAs
• At least 2 years of professional experience in game design or AI game development
• Technical proficiency in Unreal Engine or similar AAA game engines
• Experience with blueprint scripting and AI behavior trees
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Understanding of competitive titles and their use of enemies/NPCs
• Background or education in game design or programming
