AI Delivery Manager – NLP Applications

Job Overview

IQVIA is seeking a highly motivated AI Delivery Manager to lead the ongoing delivery and operational excellence of our Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. These applications play a vital role in supporting strategic growth and delivering high-value insights to clients across the life sciences and healthcare sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our NLP solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development teams based in the UK and Europe, to maintain strong collaboration and ensure seamless delivery. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our AI-driven products that extract insights from unstructured data to support clinical research, regulatory intelligence, and real-world evidence generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery lifecycle of NLP applications, ensuring adherence to KPIs for uptime, reliability, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with geographically distributed development teams (primarily in the UK and Europe) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on delivery metrics; suggest and implement new metrics to improve operational performance.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through structured communication plans and proactive engagement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to delivery timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating delivery outcomes and recommending process enhancements.
  • Support change management by assessing project impacts, building internal awareness, and contributing to training and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in software or product development, with at least 2 years in a delivery or project management role (required).
  • Proven experience managing AI/ML or NLP-based applications in production environments (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with global teams.
  • Must be located within ±2 hours of UK time to ensure effective collaboration with core development teams.
