AI & Data Science Specialist for Energy Transaction Services

The Opportunity : We're seeking a talented professional who thrives at the intersection of mathematics, computer science, and renewable energy. As we expand our capabilities in AI operations and foundational generative models (LLMs / GenAI), we look to expand our team with someone who can bridge technical expertise with practical solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Design and implement solutions dealing with numerous client’s and business’ cases.
• Collaborate with our team on complex energy projects and research initiatives.
• Support our project developing AI applications for both internal and external use.
• Translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations for clients.
• Work with streaming and asynchronous python to develop AI tools.

Technical Skills We're Looking For :

• Experience or interest in renewable energy systems and sustainability.
• Strong foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, optimization theory).
• Programming proficiency (Python, R, SQL) with experience in AI / ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.

The Person We're Looking For : Above all, we value curiosity and eagerness to learn. The renewable energy sector is evolving rapidly and we need someone who embraces challenges and continuous growth. Your attitude and passion for making an environmental impact are as important as your technical abilities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate :

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible insights.
• Self-motivation and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
• Dexterity to use AI to enhance your abilities, but have enough experience to guide and distinguish good generated code from bad one.
• Experienced working with micro services and using REST APIs.
• Be comfortable working with Git / GitHub, CI / CD pipelines, Google Cloud and Vertex AI / Gemini features.
• Be aware of and have opinions about AI frameworks, MCP, A2A.
• Nice to have : be able to work with React and / or frontend libraries.
• Nice to have : good DevOps skills such as Terraform and Cloud Build.
