Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking an Anti-Corruption & Trade Compliance Legal Counsel to build and operate the corporate compliance framework, focusing on anti-corruption, sanctions and export controls. The role partners with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Security, Product and Engineering to translate legal requirements into auditable processes.

Qualifications

Legal Master degree or equivalent; compliance certifications are a plus.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a company, law firm, consulting firm or regulatory authority.
Exposure to at least two areas: anti-corruption/Sapin II, sanctions, or export controls.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Sapin II action plan deployment, policies, controls and training.
Lead due diligence from integrity screening to enhanced due diligence and review.
Support code of conduct, whistleblowing framework, and training programs.
Manage gifts, hospitality and conflicts-of-interest processes and records.
Define anti-corruption accounting controls with Finance/Internal Control.
Monitor programme metrics, regulatory developments, and investigations.
