Business Opportunity in Crop Protection Sector

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and commercialize innovative crop protection products in South-European countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing market insights, mapping competition, and selecting distribution partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crop protection, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also be fluent in Spanish or Italian and have experience with product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies for crop protection products in South Europe
  • Provide market research and competitive analysis
  • Select and manage distribution partners
  • Liaise with sales managers to ensure successful product introductions
  • Bid networks of distributors, CROs, advisors, and industry influencers
  • Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory requirements
  • Represent the company at local congresses and symposiums

Requirements

  • Degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in technical-commercial roles in crop protection
  • Excellent knowledge of perennial crops (fruit, citrus, olives)
  • Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English
  • Ability to travel frequently to other South European countries or the headquarters
  • Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills
