N26 is seeking an experienced AFC Operations Team Lead in Madrid on a fixed-term contract to oversee anti-financial crime tasks, including AML/CTF and sanctions, and to lead a team of analysts. You will handle investigations, reporting, and collaboration with internal stakeholders while upholding strict confidentiality and quality standards.

The role emphasizes building a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and cross‑department coordination, with English and Italian language

Formación

• Several years of banking experience in Anti-Financial Crime.
• Experience with AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC and fraud controls.
• Knowledge of Italian AML/CTF regulations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the AFC Operations team.
• Ensure timely and accurate investigation of suspicious activities and reporting.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and report on AFC controls effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments to enforce AFC policies.
• Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Support audits and regulatory inquiries as needed.
• Foster learning and development within the team.
• Promote teamwork to achieve objectives.
