A leading aerospace company is seeking an aerospace systems engineer to work on innovative projects. The role involves managing airframe designs, overseeing quality controls, and participating in flight testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in Aerospace Engineering and substantial hands-on experience in the field. Swift is looking for an aerospace systems engineer to work primarily on Swift’s HALE project. You’ll be tasked with learning and owning the airframe design, be familiar with the analysis of it, and the specific manufacturing process for all of the ultra-light parts. We need the candidate to be competent with RC/aircraft powertrain and solar power systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the design of the next generation HALE as technological advances allow Swift to upgrade components and the aircraft.
Salary: $115,000 to $130,000

Primarily office environment limited time in a shop environment. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected. Out-of-town travel is required for approximately 20% of the year.
