Job summary

Grupo Oesía is seeking a Service Line Business Development Manager - Simulation for Madrid or Valdepeñas in a hybrid work arrangement. The role targets senior professionals with 10+ years in aerospace BD, focusing on in-service support, MRO, and lifecycle services.

The candidate will manage end-to-end opportunities, grow contracts, and develop new markets, while traveling as needed in a diverse, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development for in-service support, maintenance, MRO, aftermarket, or lifecycle services.
• Solid technical knowledge of the aerospace environment, avionics, embedded systems, or platform support.
• Demonstrable results in growing the maintenance business, generating a sales pipeline, extending contracts, or acquiring new customers.
• Experience in business development and direct client relations.
• Ability to identify new service needs within the installed base and convert them into business opportunities.
• Experience in developing new services or solutions with higher added value.
• Senior-level, results-oriented profile with a proven ability to manage the full cycle of an opportunity: identification, development, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Professional-level English, minimum B2.
• Previous experience in defense, military aviation, MRO, or support for complex platforms.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for In-Service Support.
• Grow existing contracts, programs, and client relationships.
• Develop new clients and markets.
• Develop opportunities for maintenance, repair, fleet support, upgrades, retrofits, and obsolescence management.
• Promote availability contracts, comprehensive support, and new service models.
• Participate in RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bids, and negotiations.
• Manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities and follow up on them until they are closed.
• Develop and maintain the Service Business Plan for the Aerospace division.
