ICEYE is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join the HAPS program in Valencia, Spain. The role focuses on hardware design, lab bring-up, and end-to-end ownership of power subsystems for a stratospheric aircraft.

The candidate will design, test, and verify DC-DC converters, protection circuits, and power interfaces, while developing comprehensive documentation and test reports for readiness reviews. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Formación

• Experience in power electronics design for battery or solar powered systems.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging and verification testing.
• Experience with lithium-ion battery systems and safety limits.
• Solar/photovoltaic array integration knowledge.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Experience with embedded systems and telemetry interfaces.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Battery testing and characterization at cell and pack level.
• Solar array integration with power bus and protection circuitry.
• Design and validation of protection and DC-DC converter circuits.
• System verification and board-level bring-up under nominal and fault conditions.
• Documentation of design, test reports and compliance records.
