ICEYE in Valencia, Spain is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer for the HAPS program. You will design and verify power subsystems, spanning battery tests, solar array integration, and DC-DC conversion, taking ownership from requirements through bring-up and documentation.

This hardware-focused role requires hands-on lab work, strong analytical skills, and ability to work within a small team under defined requirements. Hybrid working arrangement offered.

Formación

• Experience with designing power electronics for battery or solar powered systems.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up and verification with lab equipment.
• Experience with Li-ion battery systems and safety/thermal considerations.
• PV array integration and interfacing to a power bus.
• Proficient with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium Designer).
• Embedded systems experience with telemetry and MCU interfaces.
• Strong technical writing and design documentation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Battery testing and characterization at cell and pack level.
• Solar array integration and protection circuitry bring-up.
• Power electronics design for DC-DC converters and protection.
• System verification through board bring-up and integration tests.
• Produce and maintain design documentation and test reports.
