Job summary

PLD Space in Elche, Spain, is seeking an NCM Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of non-conformance cases across programs. You will manage the Non-Conformance Management System, drive corrective actions, perform root cause analyses and support program reviews with accurate reporting and insights.

The role requires aerospace quality experience, strong ISO ECSS awareness, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers across multidisciplinary environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering. Preference for Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years in quality assurance, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience in non-conformance management and root cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of NC management principles and tools (Ishikawa, RCCA, 5 Whys, FMEA, Pareto).
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, QC techniques and product assurance processes.
• Hands-on, autonomous, good communication and reporting skills; able to work cross-functionally.
• Experience with quality management software tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, maintain and improve the Non-Conformance Management system.
• Lead the Non-Conformance Review boards.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop and implement NC management tools for treatment.
• Follow up non-conformances through lifecycle; ensure dispositions and corrective actions.
• Maintain NCR lists and ensure stakeholder awareness.
• Prepare NCR packages for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Be focal point for NC management from suppliers.
• Prepare NC reports for program reviews.
