CENTUM in Vigo is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer (or final-year student) to support the certification process under EASA Part 21G and Part 145, focusing on manufacturing and repair of aeronautical mission systems.

The role offers hands-on experience in the aerospace and avionics sector, collaborating with Production, Engineering, R&D, IMS and ILS teams. No prior professional experience required; a technical mindset and eagerness to learn are valued.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Interest in avionics, electronic systems, manufacturing and aerospace technology.
  • Strong English communication skills (B2/C1).

Responsabilidades

  • Support definition and industrialization of manufacturing and repair processes for aeronautical systems per EASA Part 21G/Part 145.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining technical work instructions, manufacturing procedures and repair documentation.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to define, document and standardize assembly, integration and testing processes.
  • Participate in process reviews, configuration control activities and continuous improvement in production.
  • Coordinate with R&D, IMS and ILS to ensure documentation aligns with architecture and maintainability requirements.

About the role:

We are looking for an Aeronautical Engineer or a final-year Aeronautical Engineering student to support the organization in the certification process under EASA Part 21G and Part 145, focused on the manufacturing and repair of aeronautical mission systems.

The position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and avionics industry, working closely with Production, Engineering, R&D team, the Integrated Management System (IMS) team, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) area.

No previous professional experience is required. We are looking for someone with a technical mindset, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support the definition and industrialization of manufacturing and repair processes for aeronautical mission systems in accordance with EASA Part 21G and Part 145 requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and repair documentation for certified aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with the Production and Engineering teams to define, document, and standardize assembly, integration, and testing processes.
  • Participate in process reviews, configuration control activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Assist in coordinating with R&D, IMS, and ILS teams to ensure manufacturing documentation and procedures are aligned with system architecture, certification constraints, and maintainability requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or currently studying the final year of an Aeronautical Engineering degree.
  • Interest in avionics, electronic systems, manufacturing, and aerospace technology.
  • No previous professional experience required.
  • Good level of English: B2/C1.
