CENTUM research & technology is seeking a Financial & Management Controller to join the Finance team in Vigo, Spain. The role focuses on reliable financial information, budget control, cost analysis and project profitability.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Program Management and Supply Chain to improve profitability and efficiency. Responsibilities include monthly closings, variance analysis, budget participation, and KPI reporting.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in business, finance or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 3 years as Financial, Industrial or Management Controller.
• Experience in industrial environments.
• English level B2-C1.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly closes and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Develop financial reports for Management and Committee.
• Support budgets, forecasts and rolling forecast.
• Analyze margins, EBITDA and cash flow by program and customer.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Assist audits and internal controls.

About the role:

We are looking for a Financial & Management Controller to join our Finance team. The Financial & Management Controller will be responsible for providing reliable and timely financial information to support decision-making, ensuring budgetary control, cost analysis, project profitability and compliance with financial standards. The role will act as a business partner for Operations, Engineering, Program Management and Supply Chain, contributing to continuous improvement in profitability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial closing and variance analysis against budget and forecast.


• Prepare financial reports for Management and the Management Committee.


• Participate in the annual budget, Forecast and Rolling Forecast.


• Analyse margins, EBITDA, cash flow and profitability by business line, programme and customer.


• Monitor financial KPIs.


• Analyze direct and indirect manufacturing costs.


• Monitor material, labour and overhead costs.


• Identify cost deviations.


• Monitor project budgets (CAPEX and OPEX).


• Prepare financial models and cash flow forecasts.


• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting.


• Support internal and external audits and internal controls

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering.


• 3 years of experience as Financial, Industrial or Management Controller.


• Experience in industrial companies.


• English: B2-C1.
