Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Aerodynamics Team and undertake an 18–24 month secondment in Manching, Germany. The role involves external shape design, aerodynamic modeling, and wind tunnel work across the EF2000 program, with a return to Getafe thereafter to support multiple airframes.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, willingness to travel, and fluency in English and Spanish, with German valued.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering required.
• Willingness to undertake international secondment.
• Experience in aerospace/engineering environments preferred.
• Fluent English and Spanish; German language is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design air vehicle external shapes and deliver aerodynamic models, performance data, handling qualities, and loads.
• Develop and maintain aerodynamic prediction tools for program specifications.
• Contribute to achieving flight performance requirements across design and integration phases.
• Advance innovative aerodynamic technologies aligned with company strategy.
• Establish technical links with external research communities in aerodynamics.
• Collaborate with related flight physics disciplines such as structures and loads.
