Job Description

We are seeking a passionate web developer who enjoys working with open-source frameworks. You should be eager to take responsibility and share your expertise. If you are developing and want to grow with us, Cognizant Netcentric could be your home. An interest in AEM is essential. You will be responsible for the entire delivery of projects, working closely with the project manager to ensure client satisfaction.

Main tasks include:

1. Defining architecture and interacting with the client's architects
2. Writing and refining technical specifications
3. Providing effort estimations for requirements
4. Leading the development team (distributed across various locations)
5. Reviewing code, coaching, and providing guidance
6. Ensuring infrastructure requirements are met
7. Synchronizing with the project's lead system engineer to meet quality and performance standards
8. Collaborating with the test manager on release management
9. Developing critical system components to ensure a reliable environment for developers (including IDE setup, Maven, CICD, Docker, SonarQube)

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Familiarity with the Java Content Repository API (Jackrabbit / CRX)
• Knowledge of OSGi and Declarative Services
• Ability to extend existing products and leverage APIs for customized web experiences
• Experience in professional development environments, such as Eclipse IDE
