Omega CRM Consulting is seeking an Ecommerce Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to collaborate with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies.

The Senior Software Engineer will partner with business clients to identify and analyze needs, providing innovative technological solutions supporting the Digital Commerce Global Strategy.

Responsibilities include researching and proposing technical solutions, working with internal and external partners on development requirements, design specifications, and architectural methodologies, all while adhering to best coding practices and global standards.

Main duties:

  • Consulting and analysis: Meet with clients and stakeholders to understand and analyze processes and requirements, presenting possible solutions or improvements.
  • Technical expertise: Serve as an expert on existing applications and architecture within the Digital Commerce ecosystem, influencing technology decisions and identifying industry processes or technologies for competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions, including documentation, design, and coding.
  • Contribute to developing software concepts and projects, sharing ideas, and expanding technical skills.
  • Review and improve code, performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Enhance the technical skills of the team through training and mentorship.
  • Justify technical design decisions to peers.
  • Think creatively to solve challenges and find workarounds.
  • Deliver tasks promptly.
  • Engage in detailed technical discussions with stakeholders, challenging perspectives, and articulating value.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Adobe Commerce experience or 7+ years in similar platforms.
  • Deep proficiency in Adobe Commerce development and customization.
  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, and GraphQL for back-end web development.
  • Knowledge of web application security and performance optimization.
  • Effective collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple IT functions and complex processes.
  • Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and customer orientation.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience working in virtual, international, and multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of agile testing practices and collaborative agile development experience.
