Job title: Project management assistant

TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT

The person hired will carry out the management of research projects in Jaime Martín's laboratory, overseeing the ERCPARACRYST project and of the search and application to new projects, especially the pillars 1, Excellent Science, and 2, Innovative Europe, of Horizon Europe.

Tasks also include:

- Comprehensive administrative support, including the efficient management of internal procedures at the Universidade da Coruña and coordination with suppliers and external entities; ensuring traceability, relevance and justification of expenditures.

- Support for travel, conferences and office tasks).

- Strategy for effective dissemination and communication of project results. As well as ensuring the EU's Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) milestones; and adherence to the data management plan following the FAIR principles.

- Organisation of events, conferences and congresses

- Knowledge of the administrative procedures of the University of A Coruña.

- Experience in the organisation of events, conferences and congresses.

- Experience in dissemination and communication activities.

- Experience in designing and reviewing data management plans

Eligibility criteria

SELECTION CRITERIA

- Holding a university degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent (homologation and equivalence) with a mention and/or specialization in disciplines such as Business Administration and Management, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, Social and Legal Sciences, Humanities and Communication: 10 points.

- Holding a master’s degree in research and Innovation Management or equivalent: 10 points. Own studies and/or expert diploma in the areas of sustainability and innovation: 5 points.

- Experience in research management tasks; specifically in projects that require support to the LAB Manager in tasks of supply and purchase of inventory and laboratory consumables: up to a maximum of 7 points at the rate of 0.5 points for each month.

- Experience in the management of European Research Council (Horizon Europe) funds specifically: up to a maximum of 28 points at the rate of 2 points for each month.

- Specific experience in knowledge transfer tasks, valorisation of results and innovation, within a research structure such as a Foundation, Centre, Institute, Laboratory and/or University: up to a maximum of 7 points at the rate of 0.5 points per month.

- Experience in national grants for training abroad, staff weeks or Erasmus+ and/or Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs mobility experiences: Awarding a total of 5 points if it is justified to have attended at least three of these experiences (with a duration of at least 5 days for Staff weeks or Erasmus+ mobility; and a minimum duration of three months for national grants and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs mobility).

- Knowledge of English. up to a maximum of 3 points. Minimum level required: B2 (corresponding to 1 point) and C1 (corresponding to 2 points). For level C2, the maximum score will be awarded.

- Personal interview, among the candidates who obtain a score of 65 points or more in the previous sections, in which motivation and interest in the PI's lines of research will be assessed: up to a maximum of 25 points.

The merits claimed by the participants must be accredited with documentary evidence and must be fulfilled by the deadline for submission of applications.

The process will create a waiting list (reserves), with those candidates who obtain a score of at least 75 points.
