Airbus Defence and Space in Madrid is seeking an RF Architect engineer for Active Antenna development. You will join the Antenna System Design & Validation Spain department, defining RF architecture, interfaces, and test strategies across Telecom and Navigation antennas.

You will travel within Europe and contribute to European space projects, applying advanced RF design skills and ensuring designs meet requirements.

Formación

• Master's degree in Telecommunication or equivalent engineering is required.
• At least five years' RF Antenna Design experience for Space applications.
• Proficient in RF antenna analysis tools CST, SystemVue, TICRA.
• Ability to work autonomously, react quickly, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Proactive, technically curious and proactive in problem solving.
• Negotiation-level English language skills.

Job Description

A RF (Radiofrequency) Architect engineer vacancy for an Active Antenna has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will join the « Antenna System Design & Validation Spain » department in charge of the architecture definition, design and development of Telecom and Navigation antennas.

Our department is now working on several European Telecom & Navigation systems. You will be in charge of RF architecture activities, supporting the project Lead Engineer and Project RF architecture.

You will develop your knowledge in antennas and participate in Airbus Defence & Space development in this exciting domain.

For Radio Frequency system/sub-system/modules/equipments or components, you must be able to provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.

Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single system, sub-system, equipment, component, or module.

• Technical curiosity and pro‑activity.
• Language skills: negotiation level English.

This role will involve some travel for business within Europe and you must be able to travel accordingly.
