Job summary

EU Business School SA in Barcelona seeks an AR & Student Accounts specialist for an 8-month maternity cover. You will manage student billing, invoicing, cash allocation, and collections with precision, supporting a fast-paced international campus.

The role includes Sage X3, Power BI, and Excel tasks, monthly close support, dashboards, and responsive service to students and internal teams. Hybrid work with one remote day per week and a start date in late October 2026.

Qualifications

Experience in Accounts Receivable and day-to-day billing and collections.
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of Sage X3.

Responsibilities

Generate, validate, and issue student invoices via Sage X3 with accuracy across tuition, program changes, and payment plans.
Match daily payments to student accounts and reconcile with ERP.
Proactive collections outreach to students with outstanding balances following the AR strategy.
Process refunds and disputes per policy and escalate as needed.
Assist AR Manager with month-end close activities and revenue recognition entries.
Produce AR dashboards and aging reports using Power BI and Excel.
