Job Description: Purpose of Role

The role involves daily reconciliation and posting in SAP of supplier invoices against internal reservation system records, including dispute resolution processes. Additionally, maintaining a clean AP ledger and preparing bi-monthly supplier payments on time are key responsibilities. This position is the main contact for suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice processing and reconciliation, requiring close interaction with external suppliers and internal teams.

The role also includes active participation in monthly closing tasks related to the AP area (cost of goods sold) and controlling risks associated with open and un-invoiced bookings. The role is central to optimizing and standardizing processes related to supplier invoice processing and reconciliation.

Accountabilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of the AP sub-ledger by timely and precise transaction recording.
  • Minimize negative breakage risks by monitoring delayed invoices.
  • Adhere to internal controls to safeguard company assets, especially cash assets.
Skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Result-oriented with a proactive approach to driving positive change.
  • Good command of English.
Experience
  • Completed education as an accountant is desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-oriented or international environment.
